OPEX Logistics Expands Fleet Focus Camera Rollout to 77 Vehicles
OPEX Logistics has strengthened its commitment to driver protection, safety and operational visibility by extending its Fleet Focus camera system deployment. The operator now has 68 vehicles live on the platform, with a further 9 units just ordered — taking total coverage to 77 HGVs and hire vehicles across the fleet.
The majority of OPEX’s installations are full multicamera configurations designed specifically for HGV operations. Tractor units are fitted with starlight forward-facing cameras alongside nearside and offside views, while trailers feature load-area and rear cameras for complete 360-degree coverage. A smaller number of Fleet Focus 2DN dashcams have also been deployed across OPEX’s hire vehicles, maintaining consistent protection across short-term assets.
The rollout reflects a broader industry trend: HGV operators are moving beyond single front-facing dashcams toward full-vehicle camera systems that protect drivers, deter false claims, and support proactive fleet management.
Commenting on the expansion, George Lindsell, Fleet Manager at OPEX Logistics, said:
With 77 vehicles now on the Fleet Focus platform, OPEX Logistics joins a growing number of UK operators investing in full-coverage camera technology — choosing reliability, starlight night-time clarity, and genuine operational insight backed by expert UK support.
