AHD CAMERA READY

The greater the number of input channels on a DVR the more camera feeds it can record. Most DVR’s include four inputs, one for each side of the vehicle. The 1280PRO includes an additional channel for recording the cab or load area. All channels can be recorded in HD with audio simultaneously at up to 30FPS.

IPC CAMERA READY

IP (Internet Protocol) cameras are the latest camera technology. They feature high quality footage and great flexibility. IP cameras should not be confused with the IP (Ingress Protection) waterproof rating. It is important that only IP cameras designed for vehicles are used in vehicles due to the destructive nature of vibrations and moisture.

MOTION DETECTION

The 1280PRO features advanced motion detection technology which can be used to raise alerts when motion is detected in or around the vehicle. When used with MyFleet from Fleet Focus alerts can be sent immediately back to the office.

CAMERA COVER DETECTION

Vehicle cameras can be covered deliberately or accidently but whatever the cause video footage is lost. The 1280PRO uses Smart technology to identify when the camera has been covered, alerts can be raised in the vehicle or remotely.

GPS

GPS (Global Positioning System) is used by DVR’s to calculate the vehicles precise location, direction of travel and speed. This data is recorded with the video and enriches the footage by showing the context of any incidents i.e. was the vehicle speeding beforehand.

3-AXIS G-SENSOR

The 1280PRO features an integrated three-dimensional G-Sensor calibrated by Fleet Focus to detect harsh driving events and collisions. The G-Sensor is used to highlight video footage for review and provide instant remote alerts when used with the MyFleet service from Fleet Focus.

SMARTPHONE APP

All modern technology should be compatible with the computer we use the most, our phone. When connected to the MyFleet service the 1280PRO’s location, speed and camera feeds can be viewed on any Apple or Android Smartphone.

WIFI

WIFI connectivity allows DVR to access your network and for the video footage and telematics data to be viewed without physically accessing the vehicle. Depending on the setup, footage of suspected incidents and other important data can be uploaded automatically for review.

3G

3G connectivity allows the DVR to be accessed remotely via a computer or phone app and to be used as a live tracking system. Video can be viewed live and historic footage downloaded provided there is network coverage. If setup to do so the DVR can also automatically upload footage.

REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS

DVR’s are mission critical for many businesses, remote diagnostics allows the health status of the DVR to be monitored 24/7. Using MyFleet from Fleet Focus any faults are raised as alerts to enable faster resolution and engineer response times.

SMART TECHNOLOGY

Smart DVR’s from Fleet Focus are aware of their environment and raise alerts for the things you want to know. This can include motion detection, detecting whether a camera has been blocked, tampering, overheating and much more.

TRACKING

Fleet Focus DVR’s which feature GPS and 3G technology report their position, speed and heading back to you every 60 seconds. This data is displayed live on Google maps and can be viewed historically over any time period. The MyFleet service from Fleet Focus provides real time tracking, remote access to video and remote diagnostics all from one intuitive PC application.
